Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff,
Last month, I had the honor of delivering my State of the University Address after my first year at UVI, where I reflected on our proud legacy, assessed our present reality, and outlined both the challenges we face and the opportunities before us as we advance toward becoming a GRAND destination university.
At the heart of this vision is the principle of One UVI—moving forward as a united institution across our campuses, UVI Online, UVICELL, and our research centers.
Together, we are one university delivering excellence in education, innovation, and service to the Virgin Islands and to the world. To achieve this, we must fully embrace our transformation—financially, digitally, and operationally—so that we remain resilient, forward-looking, and student-centered.
As One UVI, each of us has a vital role to play: being prudent in our fiscal matters, bold in our ideas, and unwavering in our commitment to our mission.
We are UVI, and together we will continue to build momentum toward an even brighter future.
